Lilian Bermejo-Luque

Lilian Bermejo-Luque is research fellow at the Department of Philosophy I of the University of Granada, Spain. Her areas of specialization are Argumentation Theory and Theories of Rationality. She is the author of Giving Reasons. A linguistic pragmatic approach to Argumentation Theory (Springer, Argumentation Series, 2011), Falacias y Argumentación (Plaza y Valdés, 2013) and of many articles published in journals like Argumentation and Informal Logic. In 2009, she founded Revista Iberoamericana de Argumentación, a scholarly journal on Argumentation Studies for the Ibero-american academic community, and in 2013, she co-founded the European Conference on Argumentation series. Bermejo-Luque serves as referee for several specialized journals and scientific committees and juries, such as the jury for the AILACT Essay Prize, and she is a member of several professional organizations, including the steering committee of the European Conference on Argumentation and the board of directors of the Association for Informal Logic and Critical Thinking.
